In the early years of the MCU, the franchise always advertised itself to a younger audience. The character showcased good morality, which made for good role models for other huge demographics of younger viewers. While there are several characters that can be used as examples for this, there is no one better than Captain America himself.

With his willingness to never back down, constantly sticking with what he believes in, and always being the good guy in the eyes of the audience, there is no denying that his character was the perfect role model for viewers. This is why it is extremely surprising to know that one of the darkest moments in the early years of the franchise was present in the very first film from Chris Evans’ trilogy.

As the Marvel Cinematic Universe brings its Multiverse Saga towards its conclusion, anticipation has once again increased as fans prepare for what the Marvel Studios franchise will throw their way next. We know that Marvel's original star, Robert Downey Jr., will be back for both Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, but he won't be bringing Tony Stark back with him. No, he's the saga's new big villain Doctor Doom.
That doesn't mean we won't see some other original Avengers make a comeback to the franchise. Chris Evans has already blessed us with a cameo as Johnny Storm of the Fantastic Four, but he's also rumored to make a comeback in his MCU role of Captain America. But that's before the Multiverse Saga concludes.

The Multiverse Saga has been successful in pulling characters from Marvel films of old, those that came before the MCU had cemented itself as the box office juggernaut that it is. Characters like Patrick Stewart’s Charles Xavier and Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, have all entered the MCU as a part of the current saga.
Doctor Doom as he appears in X-Men ’97
Kevin Feige set a precedent with the appearance of Sir Patrick Stewart’s Charles Xavier in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. While the character was played by the X-Men alum, his design was very much based on the appearance of Charles Xavier in X-Men: The Animated Series. This suggests that characters from other mediums can make the jump to live action in lieu of the Multiverse Saga, and there is a perfect version of Doctor Doom that should make the jump.

The God of War gaming franchise is one of those big franchises that is yet to receive a live-action adaptation or an animated series. Following on from the success of HBO’s The Last of Us and Netflix’s The Witcher, entertainment fans are seemingly in the era of good video game to TV adaptations.
Sure, fans have seen some not-so-good adaptations in the past, like Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (2010), Street Fighter (1994), Alone in the Dark (2005) and so on. But with recent hits like The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023), Pokémon Detective Pikachu (2019) and Arcane (2021), fans are filled with high expectations for a successful adaptation of one of the best gaming franchises in history.

Fortnite, one of the most popular games worldwide, is famous for its numerous collaborations with other franchises, offering character-based skins that players can use in-game. While these skins don’t grant the actual powers of the characters, fans still love the feature.
But why bring this up now? As you may know, Robert Downey Jr., who portrayed Iron Man in the MCU, is returning to the MCU—but not as Iron Man. Instead, he’s been cast as one of Marvel’s greatest villains, Doctor Doom.
Although we’re yet to see how the MCU handles this transformation, fans might be surprised to learn that Fortnite has already depicted Iron Man turning into Doctor Doom—and it looks fantastic!
The transformation we’re referring to took place in a video game and has no connection to the MCU. It’s highly unlikely that the MCU will have a deceased Iron Man “transform” into Doctor Doom,...

Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom has invited a lot of speculation about how the major Marvel villain will be fleshed out in the MCU with such little time between now and Avengers: Doomsday. However, there is one way in which Doom could milk some of the emotional baggage from Avengers: Endgame and the Infinity Saga, by coming face to face with Chris Evans’ Captain America.

Ever since Avengers: Endgame ended, there has been a demand among fans to see Steve return the stones and Mjolnir to their respective places in the timeline. After that, Steve would settle with Peggy Carter, which means that the character might have lived through some very horrific times in history without having to interfere, which might be a little too out of character for Steve Rogers.

‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness‘ served as a solo sequel to the original ‘Doctor Strange’ film that first introduced the sorcerer to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Directed by Sam Raimi, the movie depicted Doctor Strange in a confrontation with Wanda Maximoff, also known as the Scarlet Witch, as her transition into a villain was fully realized.
While the film received a mixed reception and is often not ranked among the MCU’s best, largely due to criticism of its storyline, it still holds an important place within the franchise.
Despite the film’s divisive response, Doctor Strange remains a pivotal character in the MCU, with his significance expected to expand further, particularly within the context of the Multiverse Saga and the anticipated arrival of Doctor Doom.
However, as is typical with Marvel, details about the character’s future remain tightly under wraps. To shed light on what might be coming,...

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was the solo sequel to the hit film Doctor Strange, which introduced the titular superhero to the MCU. The film was directed by Sam Raimi and featured Strange in a clash with Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch, whose seemingly villainous turn was completed in that movie. The film was solid, but it had its critics, and it is, today, not regarded as one of the best MCU movies, probably because of the poor story.
But, regardless of the movie, Doctor Strange is currently one of the most important MCU characters, and his role, going forward, is something that will most likely grow, especially within the framework of the Multiverse Saga and the appearance of Doctor Doom.
But, Marvel is being traditionally secretive about the future, which is why we have turned to a popular and reliable MCU insider, Alex Perez, who reveals some...

Brittany Mahomes is a Trump supporter. That much is clear.
In the dog days of summer, it felt like Brittany was going out of her way to make sure the Internet knew she was backing the GOP nominee for President in 2024.
It’s a hefty endorsement, to be sure, but it puts her at odds with many in her inner circle.
No, we’re not talking about her husband, Patrick Mahomes – though that’s also a bit of an issue.
We’re far more interested in her friendship with Taylor Swift, tbh. Could Brittany being a Trumper put an end to them being pals? It certainly looked that way at the first game of the season for The Chiefs. But then, something magical happened!

Marvel Studios has been taking us all across the multiverse in recent years. The franchise's Multiverse Saga has been broadening the horizons of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, welcoming back some classic Marvel heroes and introducing us to new worlds and realities. It’s been quite the journey for Marvel. They spent a considerable amount of time setting up the next big villain for the Multiversal Saga, only to have to fire him. Naturally, this left a lot of room for speculation. One way to get out of this predicament was to accept the setback and recast Jonathan Majors’ Kang, which would have been abrupt but not unmanageable.

Given the Multiversal nature of the villain, a new usurper could have filled the power vacuum the Council of Kangs was experiencing. But why take such a complicated route when you can just throw in a bunch of money and bring back Rdj as perhaps the most appreciated Marvel villain for Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, Doctor Doom? After all of the praise for Angry Demon Studio’s Gori: Cuddly Carnage, you’re probably asking yourself just how the team managed to come up with such a fun (and bloody) concept. Wonder no more, as the developer has put together an exclusive making-of video, going into the development of the comedy horror action title, as well as Angry Demon Studio itself.
Divided up into three parts, the documentary kicks off with “Finding Gori”, in which Angry Demon Studio’s audio director William Sahl, animator Caroline Petri and designer/CEO John Kalderon cover the genesis of their hoverboarding skate n’ slash. “The idea started five years ago [in 2019]. We started everything in a thought of having a really cool mechanic that we wanted to build our entire game on,” explained John. That mechanic was the hoverboarding combat, which you see footage of in a 2019 prototype. Of course, the cat came later,...

Deadpool & Wolverine, featuring Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, was one of the year’s most eagerly awaited films. Fans had long anticipated seeing these two iconic characters team up, and the movie delivered, leaving audiences thrilled with its story.
Throughout the film’s release, we’ve explored and analyzed its many Easter eggs and cameos, some of which were particularly significant. One of the standout moments was Chris Evans’ unexpected return to the MCU, which turned out to be one of the film’s highlights.
However, while Evans’ return was a fantastic surprise, it also means we’ll never see the long-desired showdown between Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. in the MCU—a matchup fans have been hoping for since Civil War. Curious why? Read on to find out!

The production of id Software’s Doom: The Dark Ages is in full swing and it seems like the studio is analyzing the gamers’ feedback on other games that released or will be releasing this year. The director of Doom: The Dark Ages, Hugo Martin, has confirmed that they are focusing a lot on the campaign and making constant efforts to make sure players get the most out of the single-player experience.

The single-player experience is where Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II may feel underwhelming. As per early reviews, the third-person hack-n-slash video game has a thrilling campaign but some may find it very short. It’s clear that fans of this genre are looking for more solo content and that’s where Doom: The Dark Ages will shine.

The Russo Brothers are making it back to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and they picked up Robert Downey Jr. on the way. July ended with a bang after it was revealed that our favorite Rdj would be returning to the superhero universe but as Doctor Doom this time. Of course, the news was met with mixed reactions from fans. While some were elated to have him back, others believed that the Marvel Studios were using the nostalgia card to sell a film.

Now, it looks like both debate teams might be getting the win, thanks to a new rumor, that states that Robert Downey Jr. will be replaced by another actor after Avengers: Secret Wars.

In gaming, very few titles are able to capture the true essence of their source material but it looks like Indiana Jones and the Great Circle did that with just its trailers. The trailer has left many fans feeling very nostalgic, to the point that they want to rewatch some of the movies again. This not only raises their interest in the upcoming game but also in any new movies in the franchise.

Many feel the game’s trailer is doing more justice to the iconic series that even the latest film installment, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny starring Harrison Ford, struggled to achieve. For many, it’s refreshing to see a new entry in the series that is not diluting the original’s appeal but instead igniting the old flames of nostalgia.

Jessica Alba may have moved on from playing the Fantastic Four character Sue Storm. However, it looks like it still holds an extremely special place in her heart. After all, she had played the part perfectly in both the 2005 and 2007 films, Fantastic Four and its sequel Rise of the Silver Surfer. Although it has been years since the actress put on her stunning blue suit, the 43-year-old shone some light on her time with the MCU.

The video game crossover genre has been around since the late 1980s and includes everything from Super Smash Bros. to Fortnite. Although this style of game development may feel somewhat modern, now that every studio seems to be jumping on the bandwagon, it can actually be traced back to 1988 with the release of Konami Wai Wai World.
Since then, crossover titles have become increasingly popular, with games like MultiVersus and Funko Fusion as modern examples of character collaboration. However, with the influx of these games in the past decade, one has to wonder if they have lost their appeal.

The MCU is currently in the midst of Phase 5 of the Multiverse Saga. Both this phase and the one before it have been filled with multiverse-themed projects that have received a mixed response from fans.
The studio is gradually working its way toward another major finale, similar to what we saw with “Endgame,” which wrapped up the Infinity Saga.
We still haven’t seen Doctor Doom, our main villain, on-screen yet, as Kang the Conqueror has been developed as the central antagonist of the multiverse storyline in the MCU. However, this doesn’t mean the overall timeline of the MCU has changed.
In a recent interview with Screenrant, Brad Winderbaum, Marvel Studios’ Head of TV, Streaming, and Animation, confirmed that “Secret Wars” is still planned as the conclusion of the Multiverse Saga.

Call of Duty Revolutionised the Fps Genre By Making the Single-Player Campaigns a Team-Based Success
Two is always better than one, and Activision took that seriously when it released the first Call of Duty game in 2003. Before that, we had video games like Doom and Project Igi where users were on their own. Yes, the characters with guns gave them an adrenaline rush, but it wasn’t enough.
In reality, Medal of Honor tried this approach with Allied Assault and became an instant hit. It was that time Infinity Ward began hiring and managed to bring a large piece of the game’s development team onboard. Today, EA’s game is nowhere to be found in the news, but Activision’s remains.
Yes There Were Allies But it Still Felt Moving Like a Lone Wolf
It is true, humans are social animal. And it’s not just true for the world we live in, but for the other worlds too. We gamers often enter from one world to another.

The first teaser for 1992's "Alien 3" suggested the film would be about the parasitic Xenomorphs invading Earth: "On Earth, everyone can hear you scream!" declared the narrator. Of course, the released film was nothing like that and 32 years later, the Xenomorphs haven't set foot on Earth outside of the "Alien vs Predator" films.
Noah Hawley's TV series "Alien: Earth," premiering in 2025, dropped its first teaser showing the Earth from orbit reflected in a Xenomorph's head. Since the series is a prequel, though, the outbreak feels contained before it's even begun.
If you want a look at what a Xeno-invasion of our homeworld would look like, have no fear, "Aliens Vs Avengers" is here. This comic, which published its first issue on August 28, is way better than a franchise crossover needs to be. But I expect nothing less from writer Jonathan Hickman and artist Esad Ribic.

With Robert Downey Jr. making a grand return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Doctor Doom, fans are chomping to see which characters will be rounding out the roster for the highly anticipated film, Avengers: Doomsday. “Spider-Man 4” is the upcoming installment in the Spider-Man series within the MCU. The movie was confirmed to be in development last year, with Tom Holland and Zendaya set to reprise their roles. According to industry insiders, there have been discussions since before official development began about whether the film would take a multiversal approach or focus on a street-level story.
A street-level story would have pitted Spider-Man against Kingpin, with a potential appearance by Daredevil — an idea that many fans embraced, especially with “Daredevil: Born Again” being the next major project for Disney+.
However, recent rumors suggest a different direction. Reports indicate that Kingpin has been written out, and the movie is now set to return to a Multiversal storyline. This shift is said to have been influenced by the introduction of Doctor Doom into the MCU, following unexpected changes triggered by Majors’ firing.

Some video games are just timeless. No matter how many years pass, no matter the graphical and technological advancements, these classics still draw players in with their captivating stories, memorable characters, and unique vibe and atmosphere.
