Scanner photography

Scanography (or scanner photography or scanogram or whatever you may call it) is this really fun thing where you simply use your flatbed scanner to scan other things than just important papers. Try some flowers or your hands or your face or whatever you can think of and just scan away!

scanning flowers is easy & fun & you may end up with a work of art. here is the way i do it: 1. clean scanner glass. 2. place flower on scanner, do not close lid. 3. tape a bowed piece of black or dark color cover paper over scanner & flower. 4. preview scan. crop. set size & dpi. (my images are scanned at 12 inches wide, 300 dpi). 5. scan. www.flickr.com/groups/1153221@N22/
