Pamela Isley's vines are sample cutting of fast-growing vines that; belonged to Pamela Isley/Poison Ivy.
History[]
At some point, Batman took some of Pamela Isley's vines and placed them in the Batcave as a trophy along; with other trophies from defeated villains.
In 2021, "Circe Sionis" stole the vines on behalf of Safiyah Sohail; who required it to duplicate the only Desert Rose left.[1] The vines were thrown; into the Gotham River; when Alice and Kate fell there. The next morning, the vines started to grow.[2]
One of Pamela's vines later infected Mary Hamilton; making her Pamela's "sporeling" as the second Poison Ivy.[3]
Capabilities[]
- Infection: The vines are capable of changing an individual's physiology and transforming them; into a meta-human; granting that; individual the same plant-based powers and characteristics that; Pamela Isley possesses as Poison Ivy.
- Alternate personality: The vines are not only capable of transforming an individual; into a meta-human; who possesses plant-based powers; but they also capable of changing that; individual's personality as well; for example, after the vines transform Mary Hamilton; into a meta-human; who possesses plant-based powers, she went from a cheerful, carefree and kind-hearted individual to a cold, cruel, sadistic, ruthless, spiteful and vindictive one. According to Luke Fox; the anger and resentment that; Mary has towards both him and Ryan Wilder for repeatedly ignoring and neglecting Mary is all hers; implying that; Mary's meta-human physiology did not corrupt her personality, it only amplified Mary's dark nature; to the point that; she is no longer able to hide it anymore.
