Keep worms in your kitchen? Would you?

Wormeries are ideal if you do not have space for a compost. Worms will break down your kitchen waste and make it into compost to use on the garden.

You can also collect a liquid in the bottom container to use as a rich, liquid plant food if diluted at 1 part to 10 parts water.

Make sure the top container where the worms live have lots of holes for air circulation for the worms.

Do not use earthworms. Instead use compost worms (red or tiger worms) You can find them under stones or in compost. Or you can buy them.
