Athena Calderone Riffs on a Tomato Carpaccio
This really is a no-recipe recipe. Simply slice some super ripe Heirloom tomatoes as thin as you possibly can (borrowing the technique from Carpaccio). Add an allium, I used scallions but shallots or red onion also work. A vibrant fresh herb. Some bright lemon juice zest or vinegar to add acidity. Flaky sea salt. And a really good olive oil. Burrata or feta would also be a delicious addition. Feel free to swap out ingredients to suit your own palette!
Say goodbye to stark museum whites, these spring paint trends are bringing color back!
From deep reds and aubergines to mellow yellows, soothing blues, shades of green, and warmed-up whites, see what designers including Drew Michael Fox of LoneFox, Katie Harbison, and Garance Rousseau have on their swatch list in our Spring Paint Trends 2024 report.
