How to Find Appropriate Pop Songs to Use in Elementary Choir Classes | Elementary Music Lesson Ideas
It can be a challenge to find a "pop" song to incorporate into elementary choir classes. I have found it to be a great practice to add ad least one into each performance for so many reasons, and over the years I have learned how to make it work most successfully for my students. Today I want to share how I find and choose songs that will be successful and effective with my elementary choirs, and give you some examples of songs I have used over the years.
Where to Find Pop Songs that Are Appropriate for Elementary Choir Classes | Elementary Choir Songs
One challenge with incorporating pop music in elementary choir class is you can't pick out a few songs that work well and then keep using them or they will be outdated! Over my years of using pop songs with elementary choir I have found some go-to ways of searching out new songs that will work well and in this post, I'm sharing them so you know where to find the best songs (that are appropriate) to use with elementary choir students.
