I have been sculpting for over eight years. Every one of my pieces is hand sculpted, hand glazed with tiny brushes and kiln fired twice. My goal is not to create replicas. My goal is to capture the essence of each little creature, while maintaining a minimalist design.

My grandmas life long dream was to ride in a hot air balloon over the Serengeti. For her 70th birthday, part of my family and I got to be with her as that dream came true in an 8 day trip through Tanzania. While we were in Tanzania we saw hundreds of Elephants, or Elleys as our guide called them. I fell in love with Elleys so I had to make two.
