Paneled cased opening

Gone are the days of your grandmother's chair rail. ​​​​​​​​​ Though we love a tasteful nod to the past (and our grandmother) there is something to say about GOING FOR IT. We reframed this squared-off cased opening, removed the squatty chair rail, and lengthened the space by applying framed molding floor to ceiling to make this entry a showstopper.

We have a ton of millwork and trim in our home. It was very important for me to add that for charm and character. Sharing all the details!

This client had such an eye and a desire for the well-trimmed residence. With soaring, pedimented cased openings, truss beams and uniquely designed ceilings in almost every interior space, this home pays homage to elegant beauty… but still under construction for now… This is a Design Services Project which includes design concept, elevations, sections, dimensioned drawings, take-off, quote and jobsite drawings for installation.
