When I complained about these frigid predictions, my husband's response was, "Well, it IS winter." My response: "Yeah, but this is Wisconsin, not Siberia." This morning as I drove to work, the lovely temperature was -22 F. Brrr. On the way home, we were experiencing a heat wave: -5 F. But terribly windy. Definitely QUILT…

I finished my Quilt Card class last week and just want to post some photos very quickly. The class was a big hit, and a learning experience for all! Besides the cards I made, I also taught everyone how to make a fabric flower. Unfortunately, I was waiting for my fabric to arrive from Stampin' Up, so I ended up going to a LCS to buy a fabric bundle. Enjoy my photos! The cards and fabric flower we made. The card is a Very Vanilla Base, Pink Pirouette mat, and a collection of the Springtime…

Today's Free 4 All challenge was to color block on our project. I decided to create a little paper quilt with some of my Stella & Rose scraps from My Mind's Eye. After laying them all out and adhering them to my cardstock base, I paper pierced around every single square. I then used an archival pen to make a faux zig zag stitch around the squares. I used several distress inks to ink up the edges of all of the papers. I used a nestie to die cut the frame and the sentiment is from Unity…
