1VAN/3 was a model of mainframe AI developed by the Union of Progressive Peoples state manufacturer Norcomm. 1VAN mainframes were installed aboard the VP-153D Kremlin Class Hunter-Destroyer and other ships such as the medical vessel SSV Glory of the Proletariat, as well as in bases such as the Ouragan Testing Facility. Aside from using a Russian accent, the 1VAN-3 was functionally identical to the Seegson APOLLO mainframe; Seegson took note of the similarities and insisted that the 1VAN-3 was a direct copy.
