- In a remote sector of space, A7 the cybernetic ant (called Air), Dr. Mayakovsky's synthetic ant, was found as a stowaway on the freighter Philip K. Dick. Ari patched herself in the the flight computer and signaled to the crew. It appears it had been on board the ship for weeks, following a rendezvous with a supply ship. How it had arrived on the supply ship in the first place is still something of a mystery.
