The Outer Veil was a resource–rich region of space separating the Outer Rim Territories and the Core Systems. It was originally settled by the Three World Empire roughly a century prior to 2183. The Neroid Sector was situated in the Outer Veil. Several systems in the Outer Veil were part of the Union of Progressive Peoples during the Frontier War, having been tapped out by Weyland Corp years prior.
