The Weyland Isles Sector was a sector located on the Frontier. Originally established to serve as a link between the Middle Heavens and the Far Spinward Colonies, the sector lost prominence after the Far Spinward Colonies were isolated; however, the resources therein kept it from being abandoned completely. Planets in the Weyland Isles Sector included the Three World Empire colony world of New Albion, the Independent Core System Colonies oil drilling planet LV-187, and the Union of Progressive Peoples mining planet Shānmén. Tark-Weyland Station was also situated in the Weyland Isles Sector.
