Cabinet Card Photo"Bear Feathers" is included in the 1887 Cheyenne Census, He was age 40 at the time. In his right hand he holds a bundle of leaves of some sort perhaps indicating a status as a Medicine Man. He is dressed in elaborate traditional clothing and wears a single eagle feather in his hair, a bone breast plate, silver wrist and arm bands and an elaborately decorated tunic. There is a blanket wrapped around his waist.
