Epithelial tissues serve many purposes such as protection, secretion, absorbs, and filters what goes through cavities. There are many types of epithelial tissues, such as the epidermis (which is the outer layer of the skin). Epithelial tissues protects the body from bacteria. The epithelial tissues actually removes dust that is ingested during respiration. WOW! Note worthy!

There are 4 basic types of tissue; connective tissue, epithelial tissue, muscle tissue, and nervous tissue. Connective tissue supports other tissues and binds them together (bone, blood, and lymph tissues).

Connective tissue supports the body's organs and other structures, but there are many connective tissue disorders that people have to deal with.
