Medium - 140g / 5oz Large - 220g / 7.7oz --- CANDLE CARE As soy wax is a totally natural material, it can sometimes show a few cosmetic differences (to the surface of the candle, before/after burning) to other types of wax such as paraffin, and can be sensitive to room temperature changes, but these do not affect the scent or life of the candle at all. The first time you burn your candle, allow the wax to melt all the way across the width of the jar. This might take a few hours but is important as it ensures long candle life and continued even burning. Wax has a 'memory' of its first melt and will continue to melt in this way afterward. Try to keep the wax clear of any debris such as burnt wick pieces. After extinguishing the candle and allowing the wax to harden, trim the wick to approximately 4 mm before lighting it again. This will stop the flame from burning too high and too hot and causing soot to build up on the glass and in the wax.
