Today, Abby had a blast with a treasure hunt game! She searched high and low for sticky note butterflies hidden around the room. 🦋 Then, she sorted them to uppercase letter B or lowercase letter b and pasted them onto corresponding flowers. 👉🏻 Perfect for ages 2 to 5! ❤️ Want more delightful activities to connect and learn with your children? Sharyn Kish on Instagram: "Here are a few ways to use those mini fly swatters… 1. Teacher (or family member) says a word. Students “swat” the beginning sound heard in the word dictated. (Great phoneme to grapheme practice) The first one to slap it gets to grab it from the table. Play until there are no more cards. 2. Play the same way but students listen for the middle vowel sound. **You can change up the game to listen for ending sounds in the words dictated. 3. Sound Circle. Lay out letter cards on the table (or use post-it notes). Students use a whisper phone and “fun” pointer to walk around the table and “whisper” read the letter and sound for each card. (A great way to informally assess and provide immediate feedback) #kinder #kindergarten #kindergartenactivities #firstgradetea Phonic Sound Activities, Beginning And Ending Sounds Activities, Letter Recognition Activities For Kindergarten, Vowel Activity For Kindergarten, Beginning Sound Activities Kindergarten, Kindergarten Letter Sound Activities, Vowels Activity For Kindergarten, Letter Sound Games Kindergarten, Letter Sound Activities Preschool
