Back in the Summer, I pinned a pin. It was a great pin. It was an exciting pin. It was a pin of a project that I just had to try out with Kennedy. Back a couple of weeks ago, when we actually still had snow, the time was finally right for.... Giant Ice Marbles! So, funny story. I always think I'm so smart, but it turns out I'm like, really really not. This is the original picture I found on Pinterest, courtesy of the brilliant and talented We Lived Happily Ever After blog. So pretty, right?…

Frozen water balloons inside your cooler can be a great substitute for ice. 🧊 🥶 ☀️ There’s no mess this way and once they melt you get a bonus water balloon fight! 🙌 If you’re using these for a party you can also coordinate with the party colors. 😊 Tips: Freeze in a single layer (a baking sheet or shallow pan works great) 24-48 hours prior to using for best results. Make sure to slightly under fill the balloons so there is room to expand once frozen. If using quick fill balloons make sure to pull down the rubber bands prior to freezing. If you want more durability use regular balloons but DO NOT use those for a water balloon fight.

My cooler is available in some really fun colors for summer. Shop this video on LT Cooler Tricks, Frozen Water Balloons, Frozen Balloons, Summer Hacks, Summer Coolers, Party Colors, Frozen Water, Water Balloon, Ice Ball

KAYLA | Life with Little Loves on Instagram: "It is so hot in our part of the world right now, so my playgroup consists of a lot of ice and water play! Balloon ice is always so effective. I’ve done it with flowers, dinosaurs, ocean animals and this time I simply put a few drops of food dye and filled them with water. Super easy and very satisfying to peel when frozen 😂 Aside from cooling us down, this activity was great for colour recognition and language development. Children explore with their senses and attempt to describe what the see, feel etc. It’s an opportunity for parents/caters to expose children to new vocabulary and model making observations. I run a multi age playgroup and ice always engages all the different ages of the kids who attend. . . . #sensoryplay #iceplay #su Sensory Balloons, Balloon Games For Kids, Water Play Activities, Animal Activities For Kids, New Vocabulary, Invitation To Play, Water Animals, Food Dye, Animal Activities
