Logic puzzles are great activities to keep your students thinking and engaged. There are numerous reasons to use logic puzzles with your students in the classroom, including but not limited to: Increased logical and critical thinking Enhanced processing speed and memory Heightened comprehension Reduced boredom I use logic puzzles all the time for my early finishers or as morning work. I generally start the year off by doing one together as a whole class so they understand how to solve it. I then will allow students to work individually or in partners to solve it. My students just love them! This particular logic puzzle is about Ferndale's annual Easter parade. There are four floats that throw out candy to the crowd as they pass by. Your students will use the clues to figure out what order the floats were in and what candy each one tossed to the crowd.
