English: U.S. and Philippine service members attend the closing ceremony of an engineering civic assistance project Oct. 16 as part of the bilateral Amphibious Landing Exercise (PHIBLEX) 2013. Marines and Sailors of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, together with their Armed Forces of the Philippines counterparts constructed a pavilion here at the Macarascas Elementary School. PHIBLEX is a bilateral training exercise hosted annually in the Republic of the Philippines to enhance interoperability and readiness of Armed Forces of the Philippines and U.S. Forces.
