Alfred is the trusted servant and confidant to Batman, and the current Spectre.
History
He narrowly avoided infection with the Anti-Life Equation and was saved by his master from being killed by an infected Nightwing and Robin.[1] Both of whom they were forced to kill.[2]
The altercation of Batman's noble act left him infected with the techno-organic virus, and unfortunately was left to be mercy killed by Alfred, much to the latter's distraught to lose the very person whom he has always thought of as a son.[3] He then placed Batman's corpse next to Robin and Nightwing's in a makeshift funeral before getting into the Batplane and bombing Gotham City.

Alfred bonded with Aztar
- Nigh-Omnipotence: After unleashing all the rage he had suppressed in his life Alfred became bonded to the Spirit of Vengeance and obtained all of his nigh-limitless power.[4]
- Superhuman Strength: As the Spectre Alfred has almost unlimited levels of strength. Soon after gaining his powers he punched through Highfather's head.[4] He could tow dozens of containers through space without effort.[5]
- Flight: As the Spectre Alfred can fly.[5]
- Interstellar Travel: Alfred can travel between stars at high speeds. He was able to travel from Earth-2 to Earth and back in a matter of minutes.[5]
- Self-Sustenance: Alfred can survive in the vacuum of space without discomfort.[5]
