Synopsis for "Requiem: Caretakers of Mars"

Members of the super-hero community gather to commemorate the life of their fallen comrade J'onn J'onzz - the Martian Manhunter. The Martian Manhunter recently lost his life at the hands of Libra and his Secret Society. What some of the heroes are only now beginning to discover however, is that in his last moments, J'onn broadcast a telepathic message imprinting the whole of Martian history and culture into the brains of his closest allies. Each of them reflect upon the life of the man they knew. After the Earth-bound services are held, the heroes of Earth, along with the Green Lantern Corps bring J'onn's remains to his homeworld Mars to be laid to rest.

Trivia

  • Oddly, the one super-hero who does not attend J'onn's funeral is fellow Martian M'gann M'orzz, aka Miss Martian (although several of her teammates in the Teen Titans are present).
  • Aquaman makes an apperance in J'onn's funeral. This is either an error, as Orin is dead at the time, or it is Arthur Joseph Curry, the second Aquaman.
