Gwen Dylan is a revenant in Eugene, Oregon. She faced a lot of the town's undead problems as well as threats from beyond.
History
Gwensolyn Price was a student of Oregon State University, working on a BSA.[1] She was killed by John Amon for the express purpose of creating more revenants - the rarest form of undead - so they could combat the ancient evil god Xitalu.
As an undead, she went by the name "Gwen Dylan". She was given the name by Ellie, who misheard her original first name.[2] At least once every thirty days she must feast on brains, or else she will decompose. As a side effect, she gets flashes of her "victim"'s memories when she consumes their brains. To maintain access to brains, she worked as a gravedigger at Green Pastures Cemetery in Eugene. With her friends, the ghost Ellie and the were-terrier Scott, she tried to learn more about her past. Being able to pass as alive, she dated the monster hunter Horatio of the Fossor Corporation.

- Zombie Physiology: Gwen is a revenant, a dead human with both the undersoul and oversoul intact. In behavior, it is very similar to a zombie, and they have a similar (but reduced) need to consume brains.[3]
