Mary McGinnis is a character in the "Batman Beyond" future of the DCAU. She is the mother of Matt and Terry McGinnis, who becomes the second Batman after the death of her husband, Warren McGinnis. Terry also came to live with her and Matt when Warren was killed.
Mary McGinnis was created by Paul Dini and Alan Burnett, first appearing in the Batman Beyond episode Rebirth (1999).
