Synopsis for "The Strange Insect Lives of Lana Lang!"

Superboy carries Lana and Professor Lang to Africa to assist Dr Pelham in his research of insects.

Lana brings the Bio-Genetic Ring that changes her into the Insect Queen, and takes the form of many useful "insects" such as the Spider, Damsel Fly and Ant-Lion, before their guide Kim is injured and his father, Dr Pelham, transforms him into the half-human Bee-Boy; so that he can survive a potentially fatal wound.

Bee-Boy quickly falls for Lana, but is insecure about his freakish appearance. Lana Lang (as Insect Queen) and Superboy have several adventures with him, through which Bee-Boy learns that Lana only loves Superboy. The pair convince him that life is worth living, even in his Bee-Boy state, as a cure could still be found.
