World's Finest #305 is an issue of the series World's Finest (Volume 1) with a cover date of July, 1984.

Synopsis for Superman and Batman: "Part 2: Lost In The Void"

While Superman struggles to free himself from a surrealistic void, Batman is caught in the struggle between Russians and Swedes for the frozen figures of Swordfish and Barracuda. Batman is unable to prevent the stealing of the frozen figures, but the struggle ends up with the Swedes taking the frozen Swordfish while the Russians steal Barracuda.

Later, Batman confronts Null and Void, who have a falling out and are unable to work together any longer. Null tries to incapacitate Void, but Void uses his teleportation ability to transport himself to the endless void where Superman is trapped. Not wanting to fight the Man of Steel, Void teleports Superman back to Earth, where he learns about the current situation.

Superman decides to go and retrieve the frozen body of Barracuda, but his attempts are futile since the Russian ship where she is, has already been taken into Cuban territory and Superman won't start an international conflict. Meanwhile, Batman and Null work to retrieve Swordfish from the Swedes, but they are spotted by the guards and easily outnumbered. Null has no choice but to join his hand with Swordfish to gain his powers, but Swordfish is then freed from his frozen prison and with his help, they can defeat the Swedish guards. Swordfish has no recollection of the many years he has been trapped and he joins Null and Batman on their quest to free Barracuda.

Meanwhile, Peter McDonald has lost his powers as Void and he is trapped in the endless void, but he is joined by the powerful X'ult, who has released himself from his frozen prison inside the artifact and is ready to create havoc and claim Barracuda for himself.
