Brian Blessed, OBE is an English actor, voice actor, author, director, and television presenter, who is known for his loud, commanding voice and "hearty" king-sized portrayals. For Disney, he provided the voice for the villain Clayton in the 1999 Disney animated feature film Tarzan, Eduardo Enormomonster in Henry Hugglemonster, and Boss Nass in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace.
Blessed was born on 9 October 1936 at Montagu Hospital in Mexborough, West Riding of Yorkshire. He went to Bolton on Dearne Secondary Modern School, and completed his national service in the RAF Regiment in Bicester before enrolling at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in 1956. Beginning his career in television, Blessed appeared in series' such as Z-Cars, The Three Musketeers, The Avengers, Arthur of the Britons, I, Claudius, Cygnus Alpha, Doctor Who, Return to Treasure Island, Space:1999, and provides the voice of Grampy Rabbit in Peppa Pig franchise.
His film credits include Henry VIII and His Six Wives, Man of La Mancha, Flash Gordon, Henry V, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Much Ado About Nothing, Chasing the Deer, Hamlet, King Lear, As You Like It, and Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return.

- Besides voicing Clayton, Blessed also performed the trademark Tarzan yell for the film since Tony Goldwyn was unable to provide his own satisfactory version of the yell.
