Christopher Walton "Chris" Cooper is an American actor and voice actor. He is well-known for his roles in films, such as Colonel Fitts in the 1998 comedy American Beauty, Alexander Conklin in the 2003 action film The Bourne Identity, and Tom Smith in the 2003 biographical drama Seabiscuit.
For Disney, he played Tex Richman in the 2011 Disney film The Muppets and Antonio in The Tempest. He also voiced Smokey in Disney/Pixar's Cars 3 (2017). Additionally, he played John Baker, Sr. in the Touchstone Pictures film Boys and Frank Booker in The Horse Whisperer.
