Dream Caravan is a deleted song from Disney's 1951 animated feature film, Alice in Wonderland, which it was planned and originally intended to have been sung by the Caterpillar, but it was ultimately replaced by "AEIOU" in the final film. It was recorded on July 23, 1948.
Lyrics[]
Chorus: Zoom Golly-Golly-Golly, Zoom Golly-Golly (2x)
(heard in the background as the Caterpillar sings)
Caterpillar: My dream caravan has a thousand beautiful dreams.
Each night I behold any dream I wish, so it seems.
(Chorus: Zoom Golly-Golly-Golly, Zoom Golly-Golly (2x))
My dreams come and go, as the smoke rings spiral and fade
Strange visions appear as they chant this weird serenade.
Chorus: Zoom Golly-Golly-Golly, Zoom Golly-Golly (2x)
Zoom... Zoom... Zoom...
(Instrumental break)
Chorus: Zoom Golly-Golly-Golly, Zoom Golly-Golly (2x)
Caterpillar: My dream caravan has a thousand beautiful dreams
Each night I behold any dream I wish, so it seems
(Chorus: Zoom Golly-Golly-Golly, Zoom Golly-Golly (2x))
My dreams come and go, as the smoke rings spiral and fade
Strange visions appear as they chant this weird serenade
Chorus: Zoom Golly-Golly-Golly, Zoom Golly-Golly (2x)
Zoom... Zoom... Zoom...
