Nicole Evangeline Lilly is a Canadian actress and children's book author, who is best known for her role as Kate Austen in the ABC adventure drama series Lost (2004-2010), and as Tauriel in Peter Jackson's The Hobbit trilogy.
For Disney, she played Hope Van Dyne in the 2015 Marvel Studios film Ant-Man, the 2018 Marvel Studios film Ant-Man and the Wasp, the 2019 film Avengers: Endgame, the 2021 Disney+ original series What If...?, and the 2023 film Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. She also played Bailey Tallet in the 2011 DreamWorks/Touchstone Pictures film Real Steel and an uncredited role as a police officer in The Lizzie McGuire Movie.
In June 2024, Lilly announced she would be stepping away from acting for some time.[1]
