Minnie's Besties Bash was a special event at Tokyo Disney Resort that celebrated Minnie Mouse and her friends. The event ran from January 18, 2023, to March 31, 2023, at both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea. It featured limited-time entertainment, decorations, merchandise, and food items inspired by Minnie Mouse and her signature style.
Entertainment[]
The main entertainment program for the event was Minnie, We Love You!, a show that featured Disney characters in costumes embellished with hearts and bows. The show was presented once daily on the parade route at Tokyo Disneyland and twice daily on the Mediterranean Harbor at Tokyo DisneySea. Minnie Mouse wore a new outfit for the show that featured a heart design and polka dots. The show was a surprise party for Minnie Mouse that Mickey Mouse and his friends had prepared to express their love and appreciation for her.
Decorations[]
The event also featured decorations of Minnie Mouse throughout the parks. The walls of the World Bazaar at Tokyo Disneyland and the American Waterfront at Tokyo DisneySea were adorned with designs of Minnie Mouse in various poses and expressions. Guests could enjoy taking pictures with the decorations and feel the festive atmosphere of the event.
Merchandise[]
A range of merchandise items for the event was available from January 17, 2023. The items featured the cute and stylish designs of Minnie Mouse and her friends with plenty of bows and polka dots. The merchandise collection included stationery, plush dolls, keychains, clothing, accessories, and more. Some of the items were exclusive to either Tokyo Disneyland or Tokyo DisneySea.
Food[]
Guests could also enjoy special food items for the event at selected restaurants in both parks. The food items were themed after Minnie Mouse and her bag, which was also featured in the show. Some of the food items included:
- Minnie's Lovely Dessert Plate: A berry and hibiscus-flavored jellied dessert topped with chocolate in the shape of Minnie Mouse's silhouette, along with a strawberry cream puff adorned with a chocolate motif of her polka dot bow. Available at Center Street Coffeehouse at Tokyo Disneyland.
- Minnie's Lovely Set: A meat patty with white sauce, cream of potato and beet soup that turns pink when mixed together, strawberry cheese mousse cake inspired by Minnie Mouse's bag, a choice of bread or rice, and a soft drink. Available at Horizon Bay Restaurant at Tokyo DisneySea.
- Souvenir Plate: A pink, heart-shaped souvenir plate featuring Minnie Mouse. Available with a set menu at selected restaurants in both parks.
- Souvenir Lunch Case: A souvenir lunch case with a pink polka dot design on a white background with Minnie Mouse on the front and Minnie Mouse and her friends on the back. Available with a set menu at selected restaurants in both parks.
Guests who purchased an eligible menu item at either Center Street Coffeehouse or Horizon Bay Restaurant received a limited-edition luncheon mat with a "Minnie Besties Bash!" design. The restaurants were also decorated with Minnie Mouse motifs to enhance the dining experience.
