Round is a character featured in the 2000 Disney live-action film Whispers: An Elephant's Tale.
Background[]
Round is a member of Half Tusk's herd. She is shown to follow the rest of the elephants to wherever she goes. Not much of her personality is known as she does not speak much. However, despite this, she becomes aware of Whispers alerting Half Tusk's herd about Groove in danger which she received pain from the poachers during her fight against them from last night.
Role in the film[]
On most occasions, Round is mostly seen traveling in Half Tusk's herd, such as in scenes where the herd travels or whenever they panic about the poachers present within their surroundings, when the elephants of Half Tusk's herd begin to panic.
Round is later seen hearing Whispers asking for help, as she alerts Half Tusk that she heard someone asking for help, just as he tells her that he needs help, getting the other elephants' attention. Round asks Whispers to know where Groove is, which he asks her that she needs help, explaining that the poachers were the ones who injured her last night during her fight with them, leading Half Tusk to order Round and the other elephants to stay as she check on her sister.
Following Groove's death, Round and the rest of Half Tusk's herd walk across the African savanna with Whispers following along during a long journey. After a long journey, Round and the rest of Half Tusk's herd find water as marked by a flock of birds, just as she and the rest of the elephants were able to find water. During the moment, Round, Half Tusk, and the rest of the herd were able to splash and play in the water. However, the moment becomes interrupted when a group of poachers arrive and attempt to attack the elephants. This results in Round, Half Tusk, and the rest of the surviving elephants to escape from the poachers to get to the other side of the bank.
After Whispers and Princess were able to fool the poachers, causing them to all retreat. Round and the rest of the elephants rush towards the water to see Whispers, praising him for being a hero who saved them from the poachers.

- Round's name is never mentioned in the film and her name was revealed in the end credits as well as the closed captions.
- Despite her small amount of screen time in the film, Round's voice actress Betty White was advertised in a 2001 home video trailer for Whispers during the "Featuring the voice talents of" narration by Mark Elliott, which was used to promote the film's release on home video.
