Two Gun Goofy is an animated short that was released on May 16, 1952, starring Goofy and Pete.

Synopsis[]

After accidentally foiling a stagecoach robbery, Goofy is made a sheriff of a small western town.

Trivia[]

• The title of this short is similar to that of the Mickey Mouse cartoon "Two-Gun Mickey", another western-themed cartoon in which Pete also played the villain.
• This marks the first appearance of Pete in any Disney film since Trombone Trouble was released in 1944.
• This is one of the only Disney shorts to use a different design for Pete, where he is depicted as a bear instead of a cat likely due to his ears being small, the other being How to Be a Detective.
