Ubisoft Entertainment S.A. is a major French computer and video game publisher and developer, with headquarters in Montreuil-sous-Bois, France. The company has a worldwide presence with studios in 17 countries and subsidiaries in 28 countries. They are commonly known for making video games, such as Rayman, Raving Rabbids, Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, Just Dance, and others.
Ubisoft has published and developed an assortment of Disney titles since 2000. They were also the publisher of games from NewKidCo in Europe, which includes Goofy's Fun House.
The company was also the British and Irish distributor for Disney Interactive's PC titles in Europe from 2002 until the end of 2003, replacing Electronic Arts.
Currently, Disney owns two Ubisoft game-based films: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (produced by Walt Disney Pictures) and Assassin's Creed (produced by 20th Century Fox before Disney's acquisition in 2019).
