"Brick lay" perm

Atlanta-based Savannah Cochran (@savannahcochran) had quite the challenge from her first time client who had permanent black lowlights and thick, sliced brassy highlights.

Flower girl hair style Parted (as I went) in bricklayer style starting around the hairline going up in a circular pattern such that a small circle is the end result at the crown on head. Each banded section of hair separated into 2 twists that piggyback up into the next row. The circle of hair left at the top is just 2-strand twists. Decorated with a tiara.

Today we look at Brick stitch, a versatile stitch because it can be worked on any thread or wire....you may have seen hoop earrings with beads around and these are attached using this stitch.
