Faultless
The idea of standing innocent before a holy God is one I can hardly imagine. But that's because I'm looking at myself, filled with selfishness and sinfulness. We're only made faultless because of the perfect and complete gift of God's grace. We are who God says we are: loved, faultless, heirs. We are HIs.
Unstained
Grace that is greater than ALL our sin. Ephesians 1 is filled with truth about who God says we are. In fact, Verse 4 contains three. The final one says we're are blameless, without fault, without blemish, or in The Passion Translation, unstained. We can't look at ourselves honestly and see that. It's just not possible. But God does. He sees the unstained version of us through His grace-filled eyes. Let's praise Him for that grace.
Complete
I encourage to read multiple translations of Colossians 1:17. Completion, consist, hold together and exist are a few of the words used here. The Good News Translation reads, "Christ existed before all things, and in union with him all things have their proper place." All of these words and phrases tell us our proper standing, but don't focus so much on the WHAT and overlook the HOW and WHY. We are complete and held together and have a place when we are in Christ, when we are with Christ...because of Christ. #hesaysiam #godsays #complete #heldtogether #colossians1v17 #goodnews #affirmation #bibleverseart #faithjourney
Enfolded
Accepted. Is there any greater news? When we come to God through Christ, we are fully accepted and "enfolded" into His family. That's not a word picture of tossing a blanket to someone hoping they catch it, or hoping it covers most of them and keeps them warm enough to keep from freezing to death in bitter cold. Enfolding means to carefully make sure every part of them is protected with adequate covering, fully and completely, with nothing left to the elements. Just so, God enfolds us into His
Anointed
As depraved is the world is, God raises up his people for victory. We are called to be holy, set apart, to show God's character to those around us. We are commissioned for our assignment with strength and authority. We're set up with everything we need for victory. Best of all, The Lord covers us with immeasurable grace...his great favor.
