Death Train, also known as Detonator, is a 1993 made for TV movie, one of Pierce Brosnan's earlier films. It also stars Christopher Lee, Patrick Stewart, Ted Levine and Alexandra Paul. The script was based on an Alistair MacLean novel of the same title.
Pierce Brosnan plays the role of a special forces member given the task of stopping a Russian general from activating two nuclear bombs (one of which happens to be on a train). Many of the cast return in the sequel Detonator II (Night Watch), Night Watch is available on Region 1 DVD bundled as a double pack with Death Train / Detonator, the DVD's ASIN is B000HXDWFK.
