Information icon Hello, I'm FMSky. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, List of speed metal bands, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. FMSky (talk) 18:12, 6 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Can you source your additions please?

An article you recently created, List of new wave of traditional heavy metal, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Information icon Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to List of new wave of British heavy metal bands. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 21:28, 11 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

AFDs

[edit]

Hello, Crystallizedh,

If you nominate another article for a AFD deletion discussion, please follow the guidelines strictly including a) tagging the article, b) posting a notification to the article creator and c) adding the AFD page to the daily log.

This is all made easier if you make use of Twinkle, an editing tool used by most page patrollers and many administrator. Once you select the XFD option, Twinkle will take care of all of the steps for you once you fill in the appropriate fields. It remembers all of the necessary templates so you don't have to. Just remember to set up your Twinkle Preferences to "Notify page creator" so that the article creator is notified of the deletion discussion. Twinkle has a lot of other useful features that you can explore once you set it up. It really makes editing easier. Good luck. Liz Read! Talk! 17:50, 20 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Crystallizedh. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or draft page you started, "List of new wave of traditional heavy metal".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! Hey man im josh (talk) 14:06, 28 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I have already done another article with NWOTHM bands, where more sources are cited. I think this article can be deleted, it is no longer necessary.
