Birthday cake for one of my bestest friends. Decorated for a garden party so I was finally able to do a design I've had floating round in my head for a while now. Base tier is lemon sponge with buttercream and homemade lemon curd, top tier is sticky toffee cake with toffee buttercream and homemade toffee sauce. Iced with fondant and decorated with handpainted details and handmade bunting and flowers. Would look great as a wedding cake too!
