Kvadrat collaborations: art and design
John Akomfrah’s exhibition at the British Pavilion is conceived as a single installation with eight interlocking and overlapping multi-screen sound and time-based works, seen as a manifesto that encourages the idea of listening as activism. Proudly supported by Kvadrat, the exhibition ‘Listening All Night To The Rain’ is on view until 24th November 2024. Photo by Jack Hems.
Kvadrat collaborations: art and design
This spring, we are proud to support John Akomfrah’s exhibition at the British Pavilion at the 60th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia. For ‘Listening All Night To The Rain’, Kvadrat has supported 480 metres of textile to help create the exhibition design. The textiles supported are Divina and Hero, taking the visitor through a sensory journey where colour underlines the emotions of the installations and optimises acoustics. Photo by Jack Hems.
