HANNA II guest bed / daybed converts from a twin XL (38"x80") to a queen size (60"x80") bed with a simple pull out of the frame. The bed is very solid and sturdy, in a minimalist style reminiscent of Japanese beds with MCM aesthetics. This frame is a version of the Hanna bed (see my other listings with an added rail. Mattress pads are NOT included DIMENSIONS The finished frame is 82" long, 38" wide, and 9" high (top of slats) / 21" high (top of side rails). Customization requests are welcome! SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA BUYERS: Please contact me for a discount on the listing price! Since I can deliver locally myself, I can deduct the shipping costs from the price. MATERIALS & FINISH All solid maple with 2.5" diameter legs. Hand-applied oil / polyurethane finish. (Also pictured is the walnut version). Other woods are available! CUSTOMIZATION Custom sizing and other woods are available, subject to local lumber market availability. Additional charges may apply. Please send me a message for custom inquiries. FEATURES This frame functions ideally with a custom mattress pad set of 3 pads. The top one is a standard twin XL (38x80"), with two smaller pads (22x80" and 16x80") beneath it. When the bed is opened, you add the 22" pad to make a queen. You can also partially open the bed and add the smaller pad to make it a full (54"). This frame also works with standard mattresses. Mattress pads are NOT included. NOTE: I have a local upholsterer that can make the custom mattress pads for me. For buyers outside of Southern California the addition of the pads adds significantly to the shipping volume, and thus the cost. I recommend that buyers source the pads from a local upholsterer of their choice. Please inquire for more details. SHIPPING: I use independent shippers that provide blanket wrap service, which allows for less wasteful packing and crating. As these frames are fairly heavy, the driver does require help at delivery location to help unload. If the delivery location is remote, has difficult access, stairs, or requires white glove service, additional charges may apply. It may take several weeks for the driver to reach your destination. PRODUCTION TIME My production time is currently about 8-10 weeks before shipping. RUSH ORDERS AND TIME SENSITIVE REQUESTS: Due to the current volume of orders, I generally do not accept rush orders, nor am I able to promise exact delivery dates. I do my best to get each item shipped out within a reasonable production schedule. I am a one-man shop and I build each piece by hand. Woodworking machines are unforgiving and exhaustion, stress, and haste can be disastrous. I also need to balance my work and family life!
