This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Coalport in the 1890s. The saucer has a diameter of 5 3/8 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The set is made of fine, white bone china. The ground color is deep cobalt blue. Both pieces are decorated with ornate raised gilding. There are winged griffins and urns of flowers. The detail is exquisite.
