✨ formula for lining: 

✩ radius = (waist x 4) / 2𝜋 (or 2x3.14)
✩ height = 8 inches, or longer if you are making a longer skirt. adjustable according to desired length.

✨ formula for body of skirt:

✩ radius = waist / 2𝜋 (or 2x3.14)
✩ height = add 10 inches to your height in the lining.

✨ example on my own skirt: 

lining:

✩ my waist radius = (32x4) / 2𝜋, which works out to be 20.38 inches. 
✩ height = 8 inches. 

body of skirt:

✩ my waist radius = 32 / 2𝜋, which works out to be 5.1 inches. 
✩ height = 18 inches (10 inches added)

✩ 4.5 inch width, and for length, measurement of the waist of the skirt + 1 inch for seam allowance
