The Vice City International Airport Fuel Depot [1], also known as Escobar International Airport Fuel Depot is a aircraft fuel depot of the Escobar International Airport in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, located east from the airport terminal.

Description[]

The Vice City International Airport Fuel Depot is a large aircraft fuel depot. It is bordered by Little Havana to the east and Viceport to the south.

Although it appears to be a restricted area as it is inaccessible to civilians, if entered, the player will not be given a wanted level. The only way to access the fuel depot is by helicopter or by ramps that can be found in the parking lot located north of the fuel depot.

No pedestrians can be found walking around, however if the player has a wanted level while inside the base, police officers may spawn on foot around the base.

Prominent Appearances in Missions[]

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories[]

The depot makes its only appearance in the Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories storyline during Burning Bridges when Victor Vance and Lance Vance are betrayed by the Mendez Cartel.

They are knocked out by Juan Ovzem with a baseball bat and taken to a fuel depot and stripped of their weapons. They are then attacked by four Mendez goons who accidentally shoot one of the tankers, causing it to explode, burning them all alive in the process. Victor escapes the area, shooting the other tankers to blow up the place and killing the remaining goons, as he escapes on a PCJ-600, whilst Lance manages to escape in the ensuing chaos.

After the completion of the mission, radio news reports announces the explosion of the fuel depot. It caused thousands of dollars in damages and interrupted flights to and from the airport.
