Aira Shiratori is a major character in the adventure comedy manga and anime series Dandadan.

She is voiced by Ayane Sakura in Japanese and by Lisa Reimold in English.

Appearance[]

Aira is a beautiful teenage girl with pastel pink hair in soft waves and bright purple eyes. As a student, she typically wears a traditional Japanese school uniform, comprised of a dark navy blazer with a neatly tied red bow at the collar. The blazer is paired with a matching pleated short skirt and adorned with white and maroon stripes at her hem. The same striped design is on her cuffs and her attire completes with a pair of white knee-high socks and brown loafers.

Personality[]

Aira is someone who outwardly protrays herself as a sweet and innocent individual, but in practice, she is quite vain due to her beauty. She enjoys the attention of his male comradesat school and takes pride in how easily she charms them. Beneath her charming facade, however, is a more ruthless side. Which is evident when she spreads facts that she herself made up about Momo following their first skirmish. Her arrogance only grows when she gains the ability to see spirits after a bizzare encounter with Okarun. However, her delusional attitude subsides when Aira ends up working with Momo and others to save Jiji from a dangerous fate. In terms of romance, Aira struggles to express her feelings. After falling for Okarun, she awkwardly turns to the magazines of fathers for advice to admit her feelings. But when she tries to kiss him, it only backfires, showing her lack of experience in relationships.
