Designed by MacLennan Jaunkalns Miller Architects for the City of Brampton. This new facility at Sandalwood and Dixie includes four indoor soccer fields, community meeting rooms and outdoor sports facilities for residents. I feel the architects did a decent job of bringing the scale of such a large project back to a more human level. The building is easy to navigate and wherever you are, you are always aware of the outdoors and feel connected to the soccer fields.

Home soccer training area. Room includes turf flooring, glass wall for sound and safety, graphic target wall with rear pressure sensors within the wall that trigger an LED digital counter for scoring. Overall room is used for speed, agility, ball skills, and striking accuracy. Room is also used as a general workout area.
