Kathrin Schröder - Miom Studio on Instagram: "DIY Leporello Booklet 🖤
Using envelopes for a leporello – I got this idea from the talented Sonja (@sonja_mehl, be sure to check out her account!) and I loved it. My version of the booklet is way less elaborate than Sonja’s and easy to make. I used tiny envelopes, but you can use standard-sized ones just as well.
Basically, you can use any type of cardboard for the cover. However, corrugated cardboard works great for this because there’s no need for folding. Just make sure the grooves run from top to bottom (not left to right). Finally: Decorate your cover as you like!
Fitted with photographs, souvenirs, or cards, the booklet makes a great present. You could also use it to store stamps or any ephemera.
Enjoy crafting!
Love,
Kathrin

a child is playing with crayons in a bowl on the floor next to a pile of colored pencils
Sibia Torres Padilla | DIYs on Instagram: "Did you know you could turn your empty glue sticks into giant crayons? I learned this from @brianhuntresss and I decided to use his song as well because it’s so fun and well, also gives the instructions. What do you think? I knew I was saving those empty containers for a reason. Also yes the audio says to use a microwave safe dish and that would have probably been easier but I wasn’t sure what was safe so I opted for the double boiler pot and melted them on the stove. Rosie and I had a fun and crafty afternoon making these You’ll you try this crafty upcycle?"
