Quilts are handmade using your favorite shirts. You can choose to use the front and/or back of the shirt. Each side counts as one shirt. I ask that you mark the side of the shirt you want to use with tape at the bottom hem. If using both sides, no need to mark. Your marked shirts will be mailed to us. Once your shirts are received, they are stabilized to prevent stretching and add durability. They are then carefully cut into blocks. This process takes a great amount of time. After shirts are prepped the creating process begins. I send you pictures of fabric choices that best enhances your quilt to allow you to choose fabric colors for your quilt. I am open to any suggestions you have. Fabric: 100% cotton is used for all portions of your quilt. Batting:80/20 Hobbs Quilting: Free motion meandering stitch method is used throughout your quilt Backing fabric: is completed in a fabric color that matches the top of your quilt. Binding: handmade and machine sewn onto your quilt in a fabric color that enhances your quilt. Quilts can be personalized. We take extreme care in creating these special quilts. Each quilt is created as if it were our own. We enjoy creating these special memories for each of our customers.
