The Geni Vessel is a sculptural vase by artist Whitney Sharpe, the hands and heart behind Latch Key Ceramics. The high-temperature clay body is made from ceramic stoneware that is more mineral than terra cotta, lending the geometric sculpture a sturdy relic energy. This functional vessel is also a candleholder making it the most unique center piece.
Based in Oakland, California, every piece is a meditation - delicately sculpted with intention and reflective of the present. Whitney uses clay as a vehicle to translate concepts via structure and form, lending the process of discovery to be imbued within each piece created.
