Y2K (1997-2002) Through clothes, this is what people thought the future was going to look like, calling it The Millennium. The colors of spaceships, galaxies, planets, and inventions are mostly worn with metallic, leather, latex, and shiny textures. Trickling down to everyday fabrics, the color palettes remain constant. Trends include: Futurism: Cyber;Techy; and Spacey. Androgynous fashion; Tropical aesthetic; and Rocker aesthetic *This should not be mistaken with McBling era 2003-2008
